We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team and contribute to the smooth and accurate management of our financial operations.

Position Summary

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing accounts payable and other day-to-day financial activities with precision and accuracy. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent memory recall, and a solid understanding of accounting processes. Experience in school finance is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Communicate clearly, effectively, and respectfully with vendors to resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and reports as needed.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting, auditing, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Provide support to school leadership by responding to financial inquiries.

Qualifications

• Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Experience in school finance strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong memory recall for financial processes and data.
• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
